About me

I am originally from Lisbon, Portugal, born in 1959, and I currently reside in Wormeldange-Haut, Luxembourg, a country I have adopted as my first home.

Throughout my professional career, I have focused mainly on graphic design and corporate advertising, working on projects that blend creativity and effective visual communication.

This journey has been marked by a passion for design, aesthetics, and innovation, areas in which I have always sought excellence.

Outside of my professional life, photography is my main hobby, and I explore various aspects of this art form, including landscape, wildlife, studio, portrait, sport, advertising, black and white, underwater, and macro photography.

I started my photographic journey at the age of 18 when I purchased my first camera, the classic OLYMPUS OM-10. Over time, I moved on to the CANON A-1 and have remained loyal to the brand ever since, carefully following all its innovations, both in analog and digital formats, with particular interest in APS-C and Full Frame cameras. Although I have kept up with the latest hybrid models, I remain somewhat hesitant about their adaptation to my photographic practice.

In addition, I am an enthusiast of camping-car travel, a passion that gives me the freedom to explore the world, capture new images, and also practice scuba diving, another of my favorite hobbies. The mobility provided by the camping-car is, for me, the perfect combination of freedom and adventure, allowing me to explore new destinations while staying close to nature and photography.

Reading, visiting cultural exhibitions, and exploring historical sites are also integral parts of my life, constantly enriching my worldview and inspiring my art.
